I took Clover to one of the baby park swings in the neighborhood for the first time. I wasn't sure if she would like them or not, but it looks like they are a GO! She was SO cute laughing and smiling while I pushed her. I try to stop by them when we go on walks now.

A day a the park
Basking in the sun
With all this hot weather we spend a lot of time outdoors playing. Clover already loves to be outside, so we just set up shot out on the porch some days and take it all in. Michael and I spend a lot of time working in the yard and gardening, and Clover plays on the porch or rides around in what we call the "kangaroo pouch".
Playing in the sun
Clover loves to be outside and play in the yard. We explore the plants and flowers and go on walks together. As usual she tries to put everything in her mouth, so I have to keep a close watch. Here are some pictures after our new daisies bloomed last week.
Give me blueberries or give me.......nothing?
Clover is obsessed with blueberries. So much in fact that she is having a hard time adjusting to some of the other foods she should be eating....like sweet potatoes, green beans, carrots....just to name a few.
I've learned that if you just mix it with blueberries she will eat it! I guess I'm going to have to use this as a tool to introduce new foods and slowly change the proportions until she doesn't realize she's eating something else entirely, haha. The other day I actually mixed together sweet potatoes, green beans, and blueberries.......and she ate it!! What a crazy little girl :)

BFF'S
This is Clover's next door neighbor Sydney :) The girls really do love each other. They get very excited when they see each other and play on the floor......well I was going to say for hours, but that would be a bit of an exaggeration ;) Let's just sway, for awhile.

A 4th of July meal
Clover started solids on Saturday. It's been fun watching her experience new textures and tastes. We are making our own baby food, so that has been a fun project for me. It took her a bit to warm up, but she is starting to really enjoy everything. In the video she is eating rice cereal, avocado, and apple sauce. The pictures were taken the second day and you can see that even in one day she was enjoying her food more. This morning she tried blueberries!
Day 2: Starting to get the hang of things

Clover trying to crawl!
This is a great video of Clover talking, playing, and trying to crawl. I thought I figured out the whole video editing thing but it wasn't going well for me when I tried to edit down this one. So, once again another unedited video. But, in an attempt to keep the blog up to date I decided to just post it as is and move on. I'll give it another shot next time :)
